According to the statement, relevant agencies from both countries will exchange timely intelligence regarding drug smugglers and trafficking networks.

The two ministers also discussed expanding cooperation in internal security, training of civil armed forces, counterterrorism, and prevention of human trafficking.
Officials further exchanged views on cooperation against cybercrime, organized crime, and financial fraud, as well as training programs for officers at police academies.
