Perry powers Australia to 199/7
Australia captain Sophie Molineux chose to bat first, and the decision paid off as the six-time champions posted 199/7 in 20 overs.
After Beth Mooney was dismissed for a first-ball duck, Perry and Georgia Voll rebuilt the innings with a 100-run stand for the second wicket. Perry struck 71 off 48 balls, while Annabel Sutherland added a quick 27 and Nicola Carey finished with an unbeaten 26 to lift Australia’s total late on.

Pakistan’s bowling had brief success through Nashra Sandhu, Sadia Iqbal and Rameen Shamim, who each took two wickets. Sandhu removed Voll and Ashleigh Gardner in the same over, but Australia still finished with a total that proved far beyond Pakistan’s reach.
Pakistan collapse in reply
Chasing 200, Pakistan never found momentum and were bowled out for 86 in 13.4 overs. Muneeba Ali fought hard with 32 off 25 balls, but she lacked support from the other end as wickets kept falling. Only Iram Javed and captain Fatima Sana joined her in double figures, with 14 and 17 respectively.
Australia’s attack shared the damage, with Annabel Sutherland, Sophie Molineux and Perry taking two wickets each, while Georgia Wareham added one. Perry was named Player of the Match for her all-round performance.
