GAZA CITY, Palestinian Territories: “I cannot access trucks or bring milk, so I have to feed my son boiled water, anise, or mint” says the mother of five-month-old Abd al-Karim Al-Badou, who is suffering from malnutrition, as she struggles to provide to him after being displaced from Beit Lahia to the Al-Yarmouk Stadium in Gaza City.

Despite weighing a meagre three kilogrammes, the family said that the hospital refused to admit him due to the large number of similar cases. Camelia Al-Badou said her son had no known illness and used to weigh 4-5 kilogrammes. — STRINGER/AFPTV/AFP
