The Muslim world’s silence on Kashmir is intimidating,’ she said, saying, it is time for us to speak up and demand justice for the people pf Kashmir. Her appeal has highlighted the significant role of women in the Kashmiri resistance, who have long been at the forefront of the struggle against Indian occupation.
She said that this steadfast solidarity is rooted in their shared values of justice, human rights and equality. She added that they recognized that the Kashmiri people have been denied of their basic right to self-determination for too long, and that their struggle is a beacon of hope for oppressed communities across the world.
By standing shoulder to shoulder with our Kashmiri sisters and brothers, we affirm our resolve to amplifying their voices, advocating for their rights, and also supporting their courageous resistance against occupation, she remarked.
She maintained that through their collective action, they aim to break the silence that has shrouded the Kashmir conflict for decades. She said, “We will not be bystanders to the continuous human rights abuses, the arbitrary imprisonments, and the brutal suppression of dissent voices,”.
She added that they should mobilize their resources, their networks, and voices to demand the international community to take solid steps to address the Kashmir issue. She said, “We will stand in solidarity with the people of Kashmir until they are able to exercise their right to self-determination, free from coercion, violence and intimidation,”
She further said, “Together, we will work towards a future where the Kashmiris can live with dignity, peace, where their rights are respected, and where their self-determination is a reality, not a distant dream.”
