ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will present its stance at the current advisory proceedings of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the case on Israel today, Pakistan’s Foreign Office said.
In a statement, the Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch ha said Pakistan will present its stance at the ongoing advisory proceedings of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the case on legal consequences arising from the Practices and Policies of Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem.
Earlier, representatives from Jordan have told the ICJ that Israel’s occupation of Palestine is unlawful and must end.
Over 30 countries have provided their arguments to the ICJ’s week-long hearing into the legal consequences of Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian territory.
The court is hearing the case as Gaza’s health ministry said that Israel’s military campaign has killed over 29,410 Palestinians, mostly women and children in the Gaza Strip.
