GAZA STRIP: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 24,800 hot meals to vulnerable families in central and southern Gaza as part of the Saudi campaign to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The central kitchen operated by KSrelief forms part of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian and relief efforts to help meet the basic needs of affected families and strengthen their resilience amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.
KSrelief relief operations are focused on supporting the most vulnerable segments of the population, providing immediate food assistance and helping strengthen the resilience of families coping with prolonged hardship.
The latest food distribution reflects the Kingdom’s continued commitment to delivering humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people through a range of relief programmes aimed at easing the impact of the ongoing crisis in Gaza.

Saudi Arabia urges global action to end Israeli violations in Gaza
Earlier this month, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan renewed the Kingdom’s call on the international community to assume its responsibilities by taking practical steps to halt Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
Prince Faisal was speaking at the Arab-Islamic countries Ministerial Meeting in Support of Jerusalem and its Holy Sites, hosted by Jordan.
The foreign minister reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s position that East Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Palestine, stressing that all unilateral measures, including settlement expansion and land confiscation, are illegal and cannot alter the city’s legal status or create legitimate rights.

He also reiterated the Kingdom’s rejection of actions aimed at changing Jerusalem’s historical and legal status or undermining its Islamic and Christian identity. He dismissed attempts to invoke freedom of worship to justify measures that seek to impose a new political reality under occupation.

“While the Kingdom welcomed President Donald J. Trump’s announcement to move forward with the implementation of the second phase of the Comprehensive Peace Plan, we strongly condemn the Israeli military violations in the Gaza Strip, which constitute a direct challenge to the agreement, undermine the momentum it has generated, and serve the agenda of those seeking to obstruct and derail the peace process,” Prince Faisal stated.

Saudi Arabia Establishes Shelter Camp in Gaza
Last month, KSrelief established a new shelter camp in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip to accommodate displaced Palestinians, with a particular focus on people with visual impairments and their families.
The camp offers safe and stable accommodation for families whose homes have been destroyed during the ongoing conflict, providing a more secure environment for some of the enclave’s most vulnerable residents, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The facility was prepared by field teams from the Saudi Centre for Culture and Heritage, KSrelief’s implementing partner in Gaza. The teams constructed specially designed shelter units to meet the needs of visually impaired people and improve their access to a safer and more supportive living environment.
The camp was established in response to the severe challenges faced by blind and visually impaired people in overcrowded displacement centres, where limited mobility and restricted access to essential services have made daily life particularly difficult.
