GAZA STRIP: A humanitarian aid convoy organised by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) arrived in the Gaza Strip on Thursday as part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing relief campaign aimed at supporting Palestinians affected by the continuing humanitarian crisis.
The field teams have begun distributing food supplies and essential relief items through coordinated mechanisms designed to ensure assistance reaches the largest possible number of beneficiaries across different areas of Gaza, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.
The latest shipment forms part of the Kingdom’s wider humanitarian response focused on strengthening food security, supporting displaced families, and easing the suffering of civilians amid worsening conditions in the enclave.
Aid agencies have repeatedly warned of deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Gaza, including shortages of food, medicine, clean water, and other basic necessities, as ongoing instability continues to place severe pressure on the territory’s healthcare and relief infrastructure.
Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, has continued to provide humanitarian assistance to Palestinians through relief convoys, medical support initiatives, and emergency aid programmes in coordination with international humanitarian organisations.
The assistance reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and addressing urgent humanitarian needs during the current crisis.
