ISLAMABAD: The timely and efficient action of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) forced the Indian Rafale aircraft to flee in panic, Pakistan state media reported on Wednesday.

State-run media, PTV News and Radio Pakistan cited security sources as saying, “On the night of April 29/30, four Rafale aircraft of the Indian Air Force patrolled overnight in the air space in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).”

It reported that PAF aircraft immediately identified these Indian Air Force warplanes, forcing them to flee.

Timely response

Radio Pakistan reported that due to the timely and alert response of PAF, the Indian Rafale jets panicked and retreated.

The security sources said Pakistan’s forces are always ready and prepared to give a befitting reply to Indian aggression, according to PTV News.

State-run Pakistani news agency, APP, reported that following the Pahalgam incident, India— gripped by war hysteria, has begun evacuating villages near the Pakistan-India border.

It reported that Indian forces have evacuated more villages in the Samba, Kathua, and Akhnoor sectors.
