ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan women’s cricket team is celebrating Eid with a blend of joy, unity and gratitude.

Some players are embracing the occasion with their families and teammates.

While the team is away from the field, many are sharing moments of happiness through social media, expressing gratitude for the love and support they receive.

Pakistan women’s team captain Fatima Sana, alongside Sidra Nawaz, wished the entire Muslim community on the auspicious occasion of Eid Fitr.

Messages to the fans

In a video released on the official social media platforms by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the Pakistani cricketers extended their wishes and gave important messages to the fans on Eid.

Sidra Nawaz wished Eid Mubarak to the entire Muslim community and requested her fans to remember them in their prayers for success in the ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2025.”

“I wish Eid Mubarak to the Muslims all over the world. May Allah accept our prayers, ” said Sidra.

Other members appeared with Wahab Riaz on One Nation One Passion for a fun-filled conversation.

A day before Eid, Pakistan women’s cricket team captain Fatima Sana shared a heartfelt video of Shawwal moon sighting alongside her teammates.

Surprising spot

Fatima Sana and her teammates, however, sighted the moon from a surprising spot.

The Pakistan women’s cricket team all-rounder took to Instagram to share a video of her flying in an airplane when one of her teammates pointed to the crescent moon from the window of the plane.

All of the team players are seen in the viral video celebrating in joy and extending greetings.

“From our [Pakistan women’s cricket team] fam to you and your families, Eid ka Chaand Bohat Mubarak!” she wrote in her Instagram post.
