The Kingdom’s financial contribution to the Centre will be provided over four calendar years, beginning in the 2027 fiscal year.
Saudi Arabia’s support for dedicated UN centre
The support reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to the importance of a dedicated United Nations centre for delivering capacity-building programmes in various areas of counter-terrorism.
Saudi Arabia’s support for the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Centre stems from its role in combating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, regardless of its perpetrators, as well as its recognition of the Centre’s importance and its constructive role in strengthening the capacities of Member States and coordinating global efforts in this field.
