KARACHI, Pakistan: Babar Azam delivered a record-filled performance in PSL 11, achieving multiple milestones with a commanding unbeaten century that underlined his stature in T20 cricket.
The star batter struck a 52-ball hundred — his fastest in the Pakistan Super League — featuring six fours and four sixes in a fluent innings.
It was also Zalmi’s highest total in the league, surpassing their earlier best of 246/3 against the Kings.
Their 255/3 now ranks as the third-highest total in PSL history, behind Multan Sultans’ 262/3, while Quetta Gladiators’ 263/3 against Islamabad United in the previous season remains the highest.

He also matched Virat Kohli’s record for the most century-plus partnerships in T20 cricket, reaching 47 such stands. The milestone came during a 135-run second-wicket partnership, further highlighting his consistency in building big innings.
