ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police on Monday said that the presence of suspicious persons near Bani Gala had been reported as police have beefed up security around Imran Khan’s residence. Meanwhile, Islamabad police have launched preparations to deal with a possible sit-in in the area.
Islamabad police spokesperson said in a tweet that police officers of the federal capital held a meeting and discussed ways to deal with any untoward situation.
“Special security has been deployed at the entrances and exits of Islamabad, while there are reports of the presence of suspicious persons in the vicinity of Bani Gala”, the statement added.
