Australia’s recent tour history
Australia’s most recent visit to Pakistan occurred in January of this year, during which the two sides contested a three-match Twenty20 International series.
Following the upcoming tour of Pakistan, the Australian squad is scheduled to proceed to Bangladesh for another white-ball assignment, with the first ODI there slated for June 9.
Pakistan’s busy international calendar
Meanwhile, Pakistan is also making preparations for a tour of Bangladesh, where they are provisionally set to play a two-match series from May 8 to 20. This will represent the national team’s first international engagement since hosting South Africa for a two-Test series in October of the previous year.
Pakistan’s most recent red-ball fixtures came against South Africa in October, with that two-match campaign concluding in a 1–1 draw. The national side has not participated in any Test cricket since that time.
Upcoming Test commitments
As outlined in the ICC Future Tours Programme (2023–27), Shan Masood’s squad is next scheduled to travel to England for a three-match Test series running from August 19 to September 13. Prior to that assignment, Pakistan is likely to visit the West Indies for a two-Test series during July and August.
Future home series
Looking further ahead, Sri Lanka is scheduled to tour Pakistan for a two-match Test series in November, while New Zealand is expected to visit in March 2027 for another two-Test series on Pakistani soil.
