LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board on Thursday unveiled the schedule for a high-voltage three-match ODI series against the Australia national cricket team, with the cricket giants set to clash in Pakistan from May 30, in Australia’s first bilateral 50-over tour of the country since 2022.
According to the schedule, the Australia men’s team will arrive in Islamabad on May 23 ahead of the opening ODI at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on May 30.

The remaining two matches will be staged at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on June 2 and June 4. All three fixtures are scheduled to begin at 4:30pm local time, with the toss taking place at 4pm.
The series will mark another major international assignment for Pakistan following Australia’s T20I tour earlier this year, when the hosts completed a 3-0 clean sweep in Lahore.
Several senior Australian white-ball players, however, are expected to miss the ODI series due to commitments in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), whose regular season concludes on May 24 before the final in Ahmedabad on May 31.
Players whose IPL teams fail to qualify for the playoffs could still become available for the Pakistan tour.
Among those likely to join early are all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, wicketkeeper-batter Josh Inglis and Cameron Green.
Meanwhile, ODI captain Pat Cummins and fellow fast bowlers Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc are reportedly set to miss both the Pakistan and Bangladesh tours.
Australia last played a bilateral ODI series in Pakistan in March-April 2022, when Pakistan secured a 2-1 series victory.
