ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s securities regulator has approved the initial public offering (IPO) of Agro Processors & Atmospheric Gases Limited, clearing the way for the food manufacturer to list on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) said the company would offer 58.05 million shares to the public, equivalent to 15 per cent of its paid-up capital after the IPO.
The offering will use a book-building process, with 75 per cent of the shares allocated to institutional and high-net-worth investors and the remaining 25 per cent reserved for retail investors.

Agro Processors & Atmospheric Gases is engaged in the manufacture, processing, and sale of edible oils, vegetable ghee, industrial fats, margarine, spices, and sauces. Its products serve Pakistan’s consumer food and industrial markets.
Agro IPO: New opening in Pakistan’s capital market
The IPO will give investors an opportunity to acquire shares in an established domestic food-processing company and will add another listing to Pakistan’s equity market.
The SECP urged prospective investors to study the company’s prospectus carefully before investing, particularly the section covering risks associated with the offering.
The regulator did not disclose the offer price or subscription dates in its announcement. Further details are expected to be provided through the company’s prospectus and subsequent offering documents.
