The squad includes three uncapped players — Ali Usman, Mohammad Awais Zafar and young pacer Ubaid Shah — as Pakistan look to rebuild their Test campaign after a difficult start to the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.

Azan Awais and Abdullah Fazal have retained their places after impressing on their Test debut against Bangladesh, despite Pakistan suffering a 2-0 series defeat.

Wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has regained full fitness and returns to the squad. However, Saud Shakeel has been left out of the West Indies tour and has been included for the England series subject to fitness.

All-rounder Aamer Jamal has also returned to the Test setup for the first time since featuring against South Africa in 2025.

Pakistan’s pace attack for the tours includes Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Ali, Ubaid Shah and Khurram Shehzad. Sajid Khan is the only specialist spinner in the squad, while Salman Ali Agha can provide a backup spin option.

Pakistan are scheduled to depart for the West Indies on July 13. They will play a four-day warm-up match from July 18 before the two-match Test series in Trinidad and Tobago. The first Test will be played from July 25 to 29, followed by the second from August 2 to 6.

Pakistan will then travel to England for a three-match Test series at Headingley, Lord’s and Edgbaston.
