LAHORE: Protest erupted in Lahore after the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) apprehended four suspects on Saturday, a local TV reported.
The CTD personnel raided the Lunda Bazaar and arrested four suspects named Jannat Khan, Jallad Khan, Javed Khan and Zabat Khan, but the locals of the area strongly reacted to the CTD’s action.
They started protests and blocked the road in Shahdara area by burning tyres. The SP City rushed to the protest site to observe the situation and for talks with the protesters.
