Islamabad: Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs Shaza Fatima Khawaja said in a press conference in Islamabad on Thursday that Pakistan’s Street Child Football Team will be representing the country at Street Child Football World Cup being held in Qatar.
The SAPM appreciated the Muslim Hands organization and thanked them for selecting, training, and providing world-class training facilities to Pakistan’s Street Child Football Team.
She Said that Muslim Hands Pakistan’s services for underprivileged children in Pakistan are commendable. Pakistan Street Child Football Team is an example of the excellent work of Muslim Hands.
The players of the street child football team have been selected after trials from the football academies established by Muslim Hands in 17 cities of the country.
Shaza Fatima stated that currently there are millions of underprivileged children in Pakistan, and it’s our social responsibility to work for their betterment and try to provide them with all possible facilities.
She added that Prime Minister’s Youth Programme will support Muslim Hands to increase the number of academies in the country. Prime Minister’s Youth Programme is also empowering young sports enthusiasts through Talent Hunt Youth Sports League. Said SAPM.
