ISLAMABAD: The Divvy Film Festival — an annual festival that aims to celebrate and expand independent Pakistani cinema — is set to begin in Islamabad ‘the federal capital of Pakistan, on March 17 at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) after the completion of the festival in Lahore and Karachi.

The Foundation Art Divvy, in partnership with PNCA, has organized the much-anticipated festival. The foundation strives to provide a platform at an institutional level — locally and internationally — for Pakistani arts and film.

The program of films had been split among Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore.

Now in its third year, the film festival includes feature films, short films, animated movies, and documentaries, which will run each evening and will be curated to create an immersive and thoughtful experience for its viewers, ending with a panel discussion with the film directors.
