JEDDAH: The 11th Jeddah International Travel and Tourism Exhibition has started at the Jeddah Superdome, organizers said on Sunday.
According to organizers, over 200 local and international exhibitors are attending the event in Jeddah.
Reports said that the 3-day grand event being held under the supervision of Jeddah Governor Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi.

The annual event showcases the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s tourist destinations, offers chances for investment, and business. Hundreds of people representing different tourism organizations, agencies, private sector companies, hotels, airlines, and resorts have arrived in Jeddah to attend this year’s exhibition.
The event is sponsored by many entities including Visit Qatar, Yelo, Flynas, and the Casablanca for Hotel, Saudia Holidays, and Touristic Services Co. Ltd.
Maya Helfawi, chief of the exhibition’s organizing committee and GM of 4M events told the media that the mega exhibition contributes to initiating business horizons in the tourism field. She said that the event will give a new vision for tourism and travel in support of the Saudi Vision 2030. She maintained that the exhibition is viewed a unique forum that brings together a large number of investors in the sector of tourism.
Mohammed Al-Najran, CEO of Yelo said that Jeddah International Travel and Tourism Exhibition is an ideal opportunity to introduce the KSA’s enormous tourism potential and the outstanding logistic services that support the rapidly growing field in Saudi Arabia.
