Earlier, Beijing said it is making efforts to verify the reports of the surveillance balloon following the US claim that it was tracking a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon.

China’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Mao Ning said that until the facts are clear, making estimations and adding hype to the matter will not help to resolve it properly.

She said that China is a very responsible country and always abides by international law. She added that they have no intention of violating the airspace of any country. Earlier, US defense officials claimed it tracks a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon.
