The UAE attempted to fight back and were awarded a penalty in the 38th minute, but the decision was overturned following a VAR review.
After the break, goalkeeper Mohamed Al Owais produced an important save to deny Sultan Adil, while Fabio Lima struck the woodwork late in the match.

Saudi Arabia maintained their defensive organisation to complete the tournament without conceding a goal, highlighting their balance between attack and defence.
Title builds confidence for future
Saudi head coach Georgios Donis praised his players for their focus and determination throughout the competition, saying they overcame challenges through discipline and teamwork.

“We are very happy. There were many difficulties, but the players showed concentration and discipline and gave their maximum on the pitch,” Donis said.
The victory marked Saudi Arabia’s first Gulf Cup title since 2004 and provided a positive response after a difficult World Cup campaign.
Player of the Tournament Hammam Al Hammami said the achievement would provide motivation ahead of the 2027 Asian Cup, which Saudi Arabia will host.
