The hosts, opting to bat first after winning the toss, have set Zimbabwe a challenging target of 171 runs.
Middle-order rescue after early jitters
Pakistan’s innings suffered early setbacks as they lost openers Gull Feroza (9 off 13) and Ayesha Zafar (4 off 6) inside the first seven overs. Iram Javed also fell cheaply for 5, leaving Pakistan struggling at 46 for 3 in the 8th over.
However, Eyman Fatima anchored the innings with remarkable aggression, finding an able partner in Muneeba Ali, who contributed a steady 36 off 33 balls before falling in the 14th over. The pair added 46 runs for the fourth wicket to steady the ship.
Late-onslaught lifts total
After Muneeba’s dismissal, Natalia Pervaiz joined Eyman and provided excellent support with a quickfire 24 not out off just 19 balls. The duo remained unbeaten, adding an unbroken 78 runs for the fifth wicket in the final 6.4 overs.
Eyman Fatima’s knock was the cornerstone of the innings, featuring 10 boundaries and four towering sixes at a stunning strike rate of 183.72. Her aggressive stroke play, particularly in the death overs, left the Zimbabwean bowlers searching for answers.
A statement knock by Eyman Fatima 💪

Zimbabwe bowling highlights
For Zimbabwe, Precious Marange and Michelle Mavunga picked up one wicket each, conceding 33 and 38 runs respectively from their four overs. Lindokuhle Mabhero was the most economical bowler, taking 1 for 20 in three overs.
However, the visitors struggled to contain the flow of runs in the final five overs, during which Pakistan plundered 58 runs without losing a wicket.
With a competitive target of 171 runs on the board, Zimbabwe faces an uphill task. The visitors will need their top order to fire if they are to snap their ongoing losing streak and keep the series alive.
