LAHORE, Pakistan: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced the women’s squads for the upcoming limited-overs tour of South Africa, with Fatima Sana confirmed to continue as captain in both formats as the team builds towards the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.
The tour, beginning on February 10, will see Pakistan play three T20 Internationals followed by three One-Day Internationals across various venues.
Squads unveiled: New faces and returns
A 15-player core group has been selected for both formats, featuring experienced players like Aliya Riaz, Sidra Amin, and Muneeba Ali.
The selectors have infused fresh talent, handing maiden T20I call-ups to uncapped batter Saira Jabeen and right-arm fast bowler Humna Bilal.
Meanwhile, the ODI squad sees the return of opener Ayesha Zafar, wicketkeeper-batter Najiha Alvi, and left-arm pacer Tasmia Rubab, all of whom missed selection for the recent ODI World Cup.
Pacer Diana Baig and all-rounder Syeda Aroob Shah are included only in the 50-over squad, while Tuba Hassan and Eyman Fatima are part of the T20I contingent only.

Coaching staff and itinerary
Team mentor Wahab Riaz will lead the support staff, which includes batting coach Imran Farhat, fast bowling coach Umaid Asif, spin bowling coach Abdur Rehman, and fielding coach Abdul Majeed.
A pre-tour training camp will commence at Karachi’s Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre from January 1.
Series schedule and historic return
The tour will kick off with three day-night T20Is in Potchefstroom, Benoni, and Kimberley from February 10-16.
Following a 50-over warm-up game in Kimberley, the teams will contest three ODIs in Bloemfontein, Centurion, and Durban from February 22 to March 1.
The second ODI will be a day-night fixture.
