Indonesian rescuers say they have detected “no more signs of life” at a collapsed school where 59 people are believed to be buried under the rubble. The Al-Khoziny school in Sidoarjo collapsed on Monday as students were gathering for afternoon prayers. “We used high-tech equipment like thermal drones, and, scientifically, there were no more signs of life,” says Suharyanto, the head of Indonesia’s disaster mitigation agency.
