They expressed confidence in his ability to navigate the region toward a peaceful resolution and underscored the importance they place on the strategic partnership with the United States in achieving peace and stability.
According to the joint statement seen by WE News English, the ministers welcomed the recent announcement by President Trump outlining a plan to end the war, rebuild Gaza, prevent the displacement of the Palestinian people, and pursue a comprehensive peace agreement.
“Along these lines, the ministers welcome the announcement by President Trump regarding his proposal to end the war, rebuild Gaza, prevent the displacement of the Palestinian people and advance a comprehensive peace, as well as his announcement that he will not allow the annexation of the West Bank,” the statement read.
Collective readiness
The ministers affirmed their collective readiness to work constructively with the United States and with all relevant parties to bring the proposal to fruition.
They stated that their engagement would be guided by a shared goal of achieving lasting peace, security, and stability for all peoples in the region.
The emphasis, they said, must be on finalising and implementing a framework that ends hostilities and addresses the root causes of the conflict.
In their joint declaration, the ministers reaffirmed a common commitment to a comprehensive deal that would ensure uninterrupted humanitarian aid flows to Gaza and explicitly prevent the forced displacement of Palestinians.
They further emphasised the urgency of securing the release of hostages and establishing a security arrangement that would guarantee the safety of all sides involved in the conflict.
The statement also called for the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, viewing it as a necessary condition for rebuilding the territory and restoring stability. The ministers stressed that reconstruction efforts must be accompanied by a credible political track, one that creates a clear and practical path toward a just peace based on the two-state solution.
Sovereign Palestinian state
Central to their vision is the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian state that includes both Gaza and the West Bank.
They reaffirm their joint commitment to work with the United States to end the war in Gaza through a comprehensive deal that ensures unrestricted delivery of sufficient humanitarian aid to Gaza, no displacement of the Palestinians, the release of hostages, a security mechanism that guarantees the security of all sides, full Israeli withdrawal, rebuilds Gaza and creates a path for a just peace on the basis of the two state solution, under which Gaza is fully integrated with the West Bank in a Palestinian state in accordance with international law as key to achieving regional stability and security.
