Federal Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik, lauded the company’s performance during a meeting with OGDC’s Managing Director, Ahmed Hayat Lak and senior executives.
He highlighted the importance of enhancing domestic energy production and commended the efforts of Exploration & Production (E&P) companies in advancing national energy self-sufficiency.
The discussions also focused on structural reforms and government facilitation to support the E&P Companies. Minister Malik assured that the government would provide all necessary backing to help the sector operate at maximum potential and attract investment for sustainable growth.
OGDC’s Managing Director emphasised that the government’s commitment to reform provides a clear direction for companies to enhance production, improve recovery rates, and expand exploration activities.
Both parties pledged to continue close collaboration to overcome challenges and capitalise on opportunities in Pakistan’s energy sector.
This latest achievement positions Pakistan as a growing player in the regional energy landscape while contributing directly to the country’s energy security and domestic production targets.
