ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday announced that Sri Lanka will tour Pakistan for a three-match ODI series from 11 to 15 November at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
This bilateral series will be followed by Pakistan’s first-ever T20I tri-series, featuring Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and hosts Pakistan, from 17 to 29 November.
This marks Sri Lanka’s first ODI series in Pakistan since 2019, when they played three ODIs in Karachi.
The home side, then captained by Sarfaraz Ahmed, won the series 2-0, with one match washed out due to rain. Sri Lanka most recently visited Pakistan during the 2023 Asia Cup, playing matches in Lahore.
The announcement comes as part of a busy home season for Pakistan, which includes two ICC World Test Championship matches and six white-ball games against South Africa from 12 October to 8 November, now followed by this ODI series and the tri-nation tournament.
