LAUDERHILL, Florida: Pakistan’s national cricket team has arrived in Lauderhill ahead of their six-match white-ball series against the West Indies, featuring three T20Is in the United States followed by three ODIs in Trinidad & Tobago.
Split across two travelling parties and united on American soil, the Men in Green have arrived for their six-match assignment—three T20Is in Lauderhill followed by a trio of ODIs in Trinidad & Tobago from July 31 to August 12.
Touching down via Dubai, the second group of players—Mohammad Haris, Hussain Talat, Hasan Nawaz, and Sahibzada Farhan—alongside key members of the coaching staff, joined their teammates who had already set foot in the Sunshine State on Friday.
That initial contingent included newly-appointed T20I captain Agha Salman, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, and the fire-breathing trio of Mohammad Nawaz, Khushdil Shah, and Faheem Ashraf.
However, it wasn’t a trip abroad for everyone. Emerging pacers Ahmed Daniyal, Salman Mirza, and Abbas Afridi, who failed to find a spot in the final squad, returned home from Dhaka, marking a pause in their international journey.
The action begins at the Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium, where the three T20Is will light up Lauderhill on July 31, August 2, and August 3.
Spearheading the charge is Agha Salman, guiding a side that blends flair with firepower, featuring returning pace powerhouses Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Hasan Ali.
Following the fireworks in Florida, the teams will shift their battleground to the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad & Tobago.
There, wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan will take the captain’s armband for the ODI leg, which starts on August 8.
Veteran stars Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi return to bolster the 50-over squad, and all eyes will be on uncapped youngster Hasan Nawaz, poised for his potential debut.
