KEY POINTS
- Tickets go on sale online from July 15 via BCB’s official eTicket platform
- All three T20Is will be played in Mirpur from July 20–24
DHAKA, Bangladesh: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a digital-first ticketing system for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan, starting July 20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
All tickets will be sold exclusively online from July 15, marking a major shift towards a more convenient and connected fan experience.
From the roar of the gallery to the elegance of the grandstand, fans can now pick their cricket-viewing experience with ticket prices ranging from an accessible Tk300 to a premium Tk3,500.
Whether you’re a die-hard supporter or a curious newcomer, there’s a seat – and a story – for everyone.
But this time, the BCB is flipping the script: ticketing is going digital-first. Beginning July 15, all tickets will be sold exclusively online through the official eTicket platform.
Supporters can choose their match date, preferred block, and number of seats (maximum four per match per account) before paying via card or digital wallet.
Both digital and printed versions of tickets will be valid for stadium entry — a nod to convenience in an increasingly connected world.
The online-first approach doesn’t shut the gate on traditional fans either. If any tickets remain after online sales, they will be available at select booths around the stadium on match days, with booth locations to be announced through the BCB’s official channels.
Here’s a breakdown of ticket categories and prices:
- Eastern Gallery – Tk300
- Northern Gallery – Tk400
- Shaheed Abu Sayed Stand & Club House – Tk800
- Grand Stand – Tk2,500
- International Gallery & Lounge – Tk1,500–Tk3,500
The cricketing drama kicks off July 20 at 6:00 PM local time, with the second and third T20Is scheduled for July 22 and July 24 at the same venue.
All eyes will be on Mirpur as the two sides reignite their rivalry, just months after Pakistan delivered a clinical 3-0 sweep on home turf.
Pakistan’s squad for the tour, announced on July 8, features 15 names headlined by captain Salman Ali Agha.
Notably absent from the line-up are vice-captain Shadab Khan and fiery pacer Haris Rauf, both side-lined due to injuries.
Shadab recently underwent shoulder surgery in the UK, while Rauf picked up a hamstring injury during a Major League Cricket (MLC) match for the San Francisco Unicorns.
With a mix of experience and rising talent — including the likes of Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Haris, and Saim Ayub — Pakistan will aim to replicate their previous dominance, albeit in unfamiliar territory.
The home side, meanwhile, is holding its cards close. With the Bangladesh team currently locked in a thrilling T20I battle in Sri Lanka — tied 1-1 with the decider set for July 16 — the squad announcement is expected shortly after their return.
As the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium prepares to pulsate with energy, the stage is set for cricketing fireworks, digital innovation, and thousands of passionate voices echoing through the Mirpur night.
