ISLAMABAD: A satirical video mocking India’s recent military setback has gone viral on social media, featuring Chinese influencers dressed as stereotypical Indian characters singing a humorous song about the destruction of Indian Rafale fighter jets.
In the video, young Chinese performers appear wearing brightly coloured turbans adorned with toy aircraft, singing in Mandarin while poking fun at the reported failure of the Rafale jets.
The comedic song underscores the high financial cost and alleged total operational failure of the aircraft, which were reportedly shot down by Pakistan during recent hostilities.
A loose translation of the song’s lyrics reads:
“I bought a fighter jet, it was soundly beaten
What a disgrace, all the jets were lost
Not a single one returned, nine billion rupees wasted
Now everyone’s laughing at us – how humiliating!”
