GRAND PRAIRIE: In the seventh match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, the Netherlands defeated Nepal with a six-wicket win today. Max O’Dowd made 54 runs off 48 balls guided his side to chase down the target by the 19th over.
Despite efforts from the Nepalese bowlers, especially from Sompal Kami, Abinash Bohara, and Dipendra Singh Airee, O’Dowd held firm at one end, ensuring his side victory. Vikramjit Singh also added 22 runs off 28 balls.
Earlier in the match, the Dutch bowlers dominated the Nepalese completely. Logan van Beek claimed three wickets, while Tim Pringle took three wickets as well. Their combined effort also restricted Nepalese batsmen. However, Rohit Paudel was able to make 35 runs and while Karan KC made 17 runs.
