ASTANA: The 10th Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) convened in Astana, where a prestigious ceremony took place to award the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with the esteemed Supreme Order of the Turkic World.
The significant event was graced by the presence of prominent leaders including President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Also in attendance were OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev and President of Hungary Viktor Orbán.
The Supreme Order of the Turkic World, a symbol of exceptional merit and contribution to the unity and progress of Turkic nations, was bestowed upon President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the summit’s ceremonious proceedings. The honor underscores President Mirziyoyev’s significant role in fostering collaboration, understanding, and mutual respect among Turkic nations.
