HANGZHOU: Pakistan’s hockey team made a spectacular debut at the Asian Games with an impressive 11-0 victory against Singapore in the hockey tournament held in Hangzhou, China.
Pakistan showcased a remarkable performance in their opening match against Singapore, securing a commanding 11-0 win.
The scoring was distributed evenly throughout the game, with one goal in the first quarter, five goals in the second quarter, four goals in the third quarter, and one more goal in the final quarter.
Sri Lanka Women Beat Pakistan
In another Asian Games event, Sri Lanka’s women’s cricket team emerged victorious against Pakistan by six wickets in the 2nd semi-final, played in Hangzhou, China. Pakistan batted first and struggled, managing a total of just 75 runs while losing nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In response, the Sri Lankan team successfully chased the target, securing a win with four wickets down in 16.3 overs.
