ISLAMABAD: The national boxing team will depart for China on 19 September to feature in the Asian Games to be held in China in October.
Secretary General of Pakistan Boxing Federation, Col (R) Nasir Ijaz Tung, said that the squad includes 4 players and two officials. The players include three men and one woman boxer.
The male boxers include Muhammad Qasim, Zohaib Rasheed, and Ibrahim, while the female boxer is Fatima Zahra.
The players will be coached by Olympian Muhammad Arshad Khan, and the team manager will be Mahmood Riaz Leghari.
45 Countries to Participate in Asian Games
He said that Boxers from 45 nations would participate in the boxing event at the Asian Games.
