Islamabad: Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) and Deputy Commissioner Office launched an operation against illegal parking in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The operation was carried out at 26-Number Chungi and Kashmir Highway. During the operation, a total of 6 vehicles that were parked wrongly in the markets and at no parking areas were impounded by the ITP.
While interacting with the media at the site, DC, Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon said that illegal parking is unacceptable at any cost; therefore, traffic police and assistant commissioner Islamabad are taking action daily. He also requested the citizens not to park their vehicles in no-parking zones to avoid traffic issues.
