ISLAMABAD: Founder Director of Nomad Gallery Rights and Social activist, Nageen Hayat has said that women are playing key role in all sectors including arts. She expressed these remarks in an event organized in the connection of International Women Day. Nomad Gallery in collaboration with a local hotel highlights the skills and aesthetics of the creative women working independently or within groups and communities.
She said that the two-days festival will include women showcasing their skills, alongside an exquisite collection of crafts, textiles, jewelry and select art. She said that two talented artisans, Zaiban Nisar from Khairpur Lajwati from Sukkur will be the chief guests of the event. She said that they take the opportunity to celebrate Nomad Gallery’s 40th anniversary. She further said that the Nomad Gallery highlighted Pakistan’s rich heritage and culture their work.
