ISLAMABAD: The U.S. Ambassador Donald Blome on Friday met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss a broad range of bilateral matters.
According to a US embassy statement the two sides also discussed partnering on regional security, U.S. support for continued economic reforms with and through the IMF.
Trade and investment, climate change, education, and private sector-led economic growth also came under discussion. Ambassador Blome expressed U.S. support for democracy in Pakistan and the key role of an independent media.
The Ambassador and Prime Minister also discussed how both nations can work together to accelerate climate change projects under the U.S.-Pakistan Green Alliance framework.
