ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador of the United States to Pakistan Donald Blome has met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to discuss the mutual priorities of both countries.
A statement issued by spokesperson of the U.S. Mission Jonathan Lalley on Friday said both leaders discussed Pakistan’s structural economic reforms, counterterrorism cooperation and efforts to address economic, security and regional challenges.
The Ambassador reaffirmed Washington’s support for Pakistan’s ongoing economic reforms and underlined U.S. support for expanding business-to-business links and creating a conducive environment for investors.
Ambassador Blome also highlighted potential areas for investment and trade opportunities, along with cooperation within the technology, energy and infrastructure sectors.
