RIYADH: The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) achieved significant milestones in strengthening its emergency medical services in 2025, according to its annual report, with notable improvements in operational readiness, response times, service coverage, and digital transformation in support of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.
During the year, the SRCA handled more than 1.4 million emergency calls, recorded a 24 percent return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) rate, responded to 45.4 percent of emergency cases within eight minutes, and achieved a beneficiary satisfaction rate of 94.8 percent, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
The authority also expanded its digital services through the “Mustajeeb” application, which processed over 48,740 emergency requests, helping streamline workflows and accelerate access to specialised medical care.

Volunteer engagement continued to grow, with the total number of volunteers reaching 326,874, including more than 103,000 individuals who joined in 2025. During the 2025 Hajj season, integrated operational plans enabled the SRCA to provide highly efficient emergency medical services to pilgrims.
