Saudi Red Crescent Authority Enhances Emergency Readiness for Hajj Pilgrims in Madinah

MADINAH: The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) in Madinah Region is providing emergency medical and humanitarian services to Hajj pilgrims as they continue arriving at the Prophet’s Mosque and key sites across Madinah.

Director of the SRCA’s Madinah branch, Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Zahrani, said that the operational plan includes the deployment of ambulance teams, rapid response units, electric vehicles, and golf carts to serve beneficiaries, alongside full air ambulance readiness aimed at enhancing response speed and handling emergency cases in accordance with the highest emergency medical standards.

Dr. Al-Zahrani affirmed that the authority is working in coordination with emergency response partners and relevant agencies to strengthen operational preparedness and ensure the uninterrupted delivery of high-quality ambulance services, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Meanwhile, guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Programme for Hajj, Umrah and Visit, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance and representing 104 countries, visited the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilisation in Madinah on Tuesday.

As part of the programme, the guests toured the museum’s exhibition sections and viewed modern visual displays about the Prophet’s biography and the values of Islam, according to SPA.

The guests expressed their appreciation for the unique exhibits and the organised presentation, thanking the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance for arranging the cultural visit.
