Abrar reached the No.1 spot with 736 rating points, replacing Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, who dropped to second place. Australia’s Adam Zampa moved up one position to complete the top three.
Pakistan bowlers make ranking gains
Abrar’s rise was accompanied by strong performances from several other Pakistan bowlers in the rankings.
Mohammad Nawaz maintained his eighth position with 658 points, while Salman Mirza moved to 18th place despite slipping one spot. Shaheen Afridi dropped one place to 33rd with 602 rating points.

Usman Tariq improved his position by two places to reach 57th with 524 points, while Sufiyan Muqeem climbed one place to 63rd with 510 points.
Haris Rauf also moved upwards, gaining two places to reach 86th position with 448 points.
Pakistan batters continue progress
Pakistan’s batters also recorded movements in the latest rankings.
Opener Sahibzada Farhan remained in third position among T20I batters with 848 rating points, behind India’s Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma.
Saim Ayub climbed two places to 39th with 560 points, while former Pakistan white-ball captain Babar Azam improved two positions to 41st with 555 points.
T20I captain Salman Ali Agha retained his 45th position, while Fakhar Zaman remained at 72nd.
Abrar’s rise to the top of the T20I bowling rankings marks a significant milestone for Pakistan’s spin department, placing him ahead of established names in the shortest format of international cricket.
