RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has discussed ongoing humanitarian cooperation with the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mirjana Spoljaric, during a phone call on Sunday.
Both sides reviewed cooperation in relief and humanitarian efforts, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Regional and international developments also came under discussion.
It may be recalled that in March this year, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre signed a cooperation agreement with the International Committee of the Red Cross to bolster emergency response efforts for Gaza.
Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, has been at the forefront of aid efforts for Gaza, working alongside international partners to provide food assistance, medical supplies, and emergency relief.
