Saudi Arabia’s Medical Services Administration Hosts 3rd Hajj Health and Safety Forum

JEDDAH: Under the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the General Administration of Medical Services at Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior is organising the third edition of the Health and Safety in Hajj Forum.

The forum will be held from May 17 to 19 in Jeddah, with the participation of leading officials, specialists, experts, and involved stakeholders, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The forum serves as a specialised professional platform for discussing health and security issues related to Hajj, reviewing relevant experiences and best practices, and exchanging expertise among stakeholders.

The event aims to enhance the quality of health and security services provided to pilgrims while strengthening integration and coordination among relevant entities.

The forum will feature several accompanying activities, including key dialogue sessions, applied workshops, a hackathon innovation challenge, and an exhibition.

Topics will cover sustaining excellence in services provided to pilgrims, strengthening inter-agency integration, prevention and preparedness, the role of technology and data, support services, research and innovation, and the exchange of expertise, according to SPA.
