Saim Ayub Overtakes Hardik Pandya in ICC T20I All-Rounder Rankings

Pakistan opener rises to second place as Fakhar Zaman, Usman Tariq and Sufiyan Muqeem also make gains in latest rankings

DUBAI: Pakistan’s Saim Ayub has climbed to second place in the latest ICC T20I all-rounder rankings, overtaking India’s Hardik Pandya in a major boost for the young batter.

According to the latest ICC rankings, Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza continues to hold the top spot among T20I all-rounders, while Saim moved up one place to second. Pandya slipped to third.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz retained 10th place in the all-rounders’ list, while Shadab Khan is ranked 23rd. Faheem Ashraf and Salman Ali Agha occupy 53rd and 55th positions respectively, while Shaheen Afridi remains 62nd.

In the T20I batters’ rankings, Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan retained third place with 848 points. India’s Ishan Kishan continues to lead the list, followed by teammate Abhishek Sharma in second.

Saim Ayub and Babar Azam remain in 40th and 42nd place respectively, while Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha stays 44th with 547 points. Fakhar Zaman climbed one place to 71st with 481 points.

In the bowlers’ rankings, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan remains number one, while Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed holds second place with 736 points.

England’s Adil Rashid moved up to third, overtaking India’s Varun Chakaravarthy.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz retained 12th place, Salman Mirza stayed 20th, and Shaheen Afridi remained 30th.

Usman Tariq rose one place to 59th, while Sufiyan Muqeem also moved up one position to 67th.
