MOSCOW: Russia’s Defence Ministry said on Tuesday that its forces had hit four cargo vessels linked to Ukraine’s military operations, along with a vehicle components factory and port facilities in the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Chornomorsk.
According to the ministry, two dry cargo ships were targeted at the Ukrainian ports of Mykolaiv and Pivdennyi on Monday evening, while two other vessels carrying weapons and military equipment for Ukraine were struck south of Odesa.
The ministry claimed that the strikes also damaged the Chornomorsk Automotive Components Plant and a port terminal that was being used by Ukrainian forces to repair military vehicles and store ammunition and fuel. According to Reuters, the Russian claim could not be independently verified.

Separately, a warehouse operated by Russian online retailer Wildberries in the Tver region was damaged in a Ukrainian drone strike, the acting regional governor said on Tuesday.
Governor Vitaly Korolyov said no employees were injured in the attack and emergency teams were working at the site.
