KARACHI: Pakistan’s President, Dr. Arif Alvi, paid a visit to the Langar Khana being run by Saylani Welfare International Trust here on Saturday. During his visit, he met with the attendance and deserving people at Langar Khan and also ate lunch with them.
Earlier, President Arif Alvi was received by the Saylani Welfare Chief Maulana Bashir Farooqi. Both discussed the humanitarian work of the trust, where the president appreciated the role of the trust in helping the poor/.
Later, Arif Alvi also inaugurated the Saylani School of Business and Islamic Leadership and visited one of the classrooms of the school.
It is worth noting that, established in 1999, Saylani Welfare International Trust works for the welfare of the poor, homeless people of Pakistan in different cities.
