OCCUPIED JERUSALEM: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned Israel’s killing of civilians in the Gaza Strip, following an Israeli airstrike on a residential apartment that killed five Palestinians, including four women, and injured several others.
The ministry described the strike as part of the ongoing genocide and war crimes against the Palestinian people, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.
It said the attack, coupled with Israel’s continued refusal to agree to a ceasefire, comply with US President Donald Trump’s peace plan, implement United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803 and allow humanitarian aid into Gaza despite the worsening famine and humanitarian suffering, demonstrated what it described as Israel’s intent to commit genocide and forcibly displace Palestinians.

The ministry called on the international community to activate accountability mechanisms, end impunity and ensure the protection of Palestinian civilians.
Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip
It also urged a comprehensive and lasting ceasefire, a full Israeli withdrawal from the Strip and the unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid, alongside measures to support recovery and reconstruction.
It said these steps should ultimately contribute to ending what it described as the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine and achieving Palestinian independence, sovereignty and the right to self-determination.
