Asian Games 2026: China Stays Ahead with 341 Medals as Games Set to End Tomorrow

China continues to dominate the medal table, while Pakistan stands at 29th with 10 medals as the 20th edition of the Asian Games draws to a close on Sunday.

NAGOYA, Japan: As the 20th edition of the Asian Games 2026 draws near to its end on Sunday, China continues to lead the medal table by a wide margin, followed by hosts Japan and South Korea.

China has secured 169 gold, 89 silver and 83 bronze medals, taking its overall tally to 341 medals. Japan is second with 269 medals, including 83 gold, 95 silver and 91 bronze, while South Korea is third with 150 medals.

India moved into fourth place with 85 medals, including 21 gold, 27 silver and 37 bronze, while Uzbekistan occupies fifth place with 70 medals.

Pakistan, meanwhile, has collected 10 medals, two silver and eight bronze, and is placed 29th in the standings.

Pakistan’s silver medals include the men’s cricket team, which finished runners-up after losing to India in the Asian Games T20 final, while the country’s bronze medals have come from several disciplines, including MMA, squash and other team and individual events.
