KARACHI: A Pakistani student has brought international recognition to the country after winning the Global Champion title at the Harvard Crimson Business Competition, one of the world’s leading pre-college business contests.

Jayant Kumar, a student of Karachi Grammar School, competed individually against more than 1,000 teams from around the world. Many of the competing teams had up to four members, making his solo victory a major achievement.
The competition was evaluated by judges from leading Fortune 500 companies, adding further weight to the accomplishment.
Jayant also made history by becoming the first Pakistani student to qualify for the Global Final of the Harvard Crimson Business Competition before going on to win the title.
His success highlights the growing talent, confidence and global competitiveness of Pakistani students, particularly in business, entrepreneurship and problem-solving.
The achievement has also added another international success story to Karachi’s academic landscape, reinforcing the city’s reputation for producing high-performing students capable of competing on the world stage.
